Jennifer Taylor is Vice President, U.S. Jobs at the Consumer Technology Association™ (CTA) the U.S. trade association representing more than 2,200 consumer technology companies and which owns and produces CES® – The Global Stage for Innovation. Jennifer leads initiatives that demonstrate how the consumer tech industry is addressing the nation’s critical skills gap, growing the number of high-skilled jobs, and investing in creating a fully-equipped, high-skilled 21st century workforce.
Jennifer leads CTA’s 21st Century Workforce council with over 70 tech companies. This leadership forum shares effective best-practices, strategies and approaches used to create high-quality talent pipelines. Jennifer also built and leads the CTA Apprenticeship Coalition, in partnership with IBM, to increase the availability and adoption of apprenticeships as a talent solution in the tech sector.
Jennifer oversees USTechVets.com, in partnership with the Northern Virginia Technology Council, Monster.com, and Military.com, an online hiring platform that helps HR professionals in the tech industry identify and hire veterans and military spouses.
Jennifer has experience working in the technology field with ten years at AARP as vice president of business development where she developed and launched a tablet for tech-shy seniors in partnership with Intel® and built a full product portfolio of consumer tech benefits for AARP members. She was also the executive vice president of sales and marketing at Caring Village™, a subsidiary of Segue Technologies, where she introduced a first-of-its-kind caregiving SaaS platform and mobile app to the long-term care industry. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in communications and an MBA in marketing and management from George Mason University.
